The rapid growth of digital media and social networking platforms has resulted in the widespread dissemination of fake and misleading news. Due to the high volume and speed of online information sharing, users often consume and circulate news without verifying its authenticity. Existing fact-checking approaches are largely manual or rely on simple rule-based techniques, making them inefficient and incapable of handling large-scale data. Furthermore, fake news is frequently written in a convincing manner, blending factual content with misleading context, which makes detection challenging. This creates a critical need for an automated and reliable system that can analyze news content and accurately distinguish between genuine and fake information.
